dox42 for SAP® Solutions

There are three different dox42 Data Sources for SAP® Solutions that enable you to use SAP data for your dox42 templates.

You can obtain data from any SAP system, including SAP S/4HANA®, SAP® ERP (ECC) former R/3®, SAP S/4HANA® Cloud (public or private edition), on-premises, SAP® SuccessFactors®, and more.

All data sources are additional data sources.

Note

A dox42 additional data source enables access to specific data sources or systems, additionally to the already predefined data sources. The additional data source is developed and licensed as an additional module by dox42.

dox42 RFC Data Source for SAP® Solutions

The RFC for SAP data source is a data source option that allows you to retrieve data directly from your SAP system using RFC. You can retreive data from tables, BAPIs and BW queries.

dox42 OData Data Source for SAP® Solutions

The OData for SAP data source is a data source option that allows you to retrieve data directly from your SAP system using OData requests. OData (Open Data Protocol) is a standardized web protocol that enables applications to query and update data over HTTP. With the dox42 OData for SAP data source, you can easily connect, fetch entities, apply filters, and integrate live SAP data into your documents or reports.

The JSON for SAP data source is a data source option designed to parse the JSON content generated by the dox42 Integration for SAP® Solutions.
