Setting up the SharePoint Online certificate

Steps

  1. Go to System administration > Setup > dox42 > dox42 servers.

  2. From the Authentication method dropdown select the As Azure application entry.

  3. Select Generate SharePoint Online Certificate.

  4. Select Save.

  5. Select Download SharePoint Online Certificate.

  6. Enter the app registration parameters:
    See Retrieving app registration properties in Microsoft Entra ID.

    • SharePoint Online tenant ID

    • SharePoint Online client ID

  7. Select Save.

  8. Open the Microsoft Entra admin center: https://entra.microsoft.com

  9. Go to Certificates & secrets.

  10. Select the Add button to upload the previously downloaded .cer file.
