# Registering the dox42 SkribbleAction for dox42 Server or dox42 Online

You need to register the dox42 SkribbleAction in order to use it with dox42 Server or dox42 Online.

## Steps if you are using dox42 Server

1. Copy the following assemblies to the **bin** folder of your dox42 Server (C:\dox42Server\bin):
  - DigitalSigningCOA.dll
2. Register the dox42 SkribbleAction as a [custom output action](/v1/docs/configuration-options-for-webconfig-file) in the **web.config** file of your server.

## Steps if you are using dox42 Online

1. Get in touch with [support@dox42.com](mailto:support@dox42.com) to get the dox42 SkribbleAction deployed in your dox42 Online instance.

## Result

You have registered the dox42 SkribbleAction and can now use it with dox42 Server or dox42 Online.
