Adding your Microsoft Entra ID app registration to settings in MAUI

If you are working with dox42 Online you need to complete the configurations in your dox42 Management UI (MAUI, once your app is registered and configured in Entra ID.

Prerequisite

Steps

  1. Open your dox42 Management UI (MAUI) in your browser: https://yourCompany.dox42.online/maui/.

  2. Log in with one of the following credentials depending on the configured authentication method:

    • User: admin, Password: your chosen password

    • Microsoft 365 username and password.

  3. Select the Settings button.

  4. Optional: To send emails via dox42 Online:

    1. Enter the needed information into the following text fields at the top section of the page:

      • e-mail server

      • e-mail address

      • password

      • error e-mail address

    2. Select the Save and Deploy button.
      The Changes are deploying… message is shown. Once the message has disappeared the time stamp of the last deployment is shown below the Save and Deploy button.

  5. To add a Sharepoint Online site:

    1. In the Sharepoint Online Sites for dox42 Templates select the Add button.

    2. In the Url text field enter the SharePoint site URL in this format: https://yourcompany.sharepoint.com/site/.

    3. Enter the following properties of your app registration:

      1. App ID: Value of Application (client ID)

      2. Tenant ID: Value of Directory (tenant ID)

      3. Client Secret: Value of generated Client Secret

    4. Select the Confirm button.

    5. Select the Save and Deploy button.
      The Changes are deploying… message is shown.

    6. Repeat the steps above for every single SharePoint site you need to add.

  6. To configure a trusted template location:

    1. In the Trusted Template Locations section select the Add button.
      The Add Trusted Template Location pop-up opens.

    2. Enter the URL into the text field Template location.
      Your templates have to be stored on SharePoint Online, hence your trusted template location could be https://yourcompany.sharepoint.com/, or you could also specify a specific SharePoint site. As an alternative to SharePoint Online, you could also store your templates on d.velop documents. Your d.velop directory could look like this: dms://a9xxxxx-33ad-xxxx-bf29-029958xxxxx/.

    3. Select the Confirm button.

    4. Repeat the steps above for every single trusted template location you need to add.

    5. Select the Save and Deploy button.

      The Changes are deploying… message is shown.

  7. To upload your Aspose license file:

    Note

    This does not apply for dox42 Online trials.

    1. Drag & drop your Aspose license file onto the Drop your file field.

    2. Select the Save and Deploy button.
      The Changes are deploying… message is shown.

Result

You have added your Entra ID app registration to dox42 MAUI.
