Calling the dox42 template ('ReturnAction')

Steps

  1. Open d.velop Cloud Start Page > Configuration > Alpin dox42 Service Main Configuration.

  2. At the end of the template list,  set up a new configuration:

  3. Select Save.

  4. Select the Configure Output Actions link and configure an Output Action.

    In our example, we have configured a ReturnAction.

  5. Optional: If the  format jpg is not suitable for your purposes, you can change the value text field to pdf.

  6. Select Save.

  7. Use the search and select a document of your choice.

  8. Select the dox42 icon in the right sidebar to start the template and test your call:

  9. Select the previously configured Output Action.

  10. Select the Generate button.

Result

You can now download the generated document as a jpg file.

The generated file can be saved or displayed and is no longer connected to the dox42 Server or d.velop documents.

In the generated document, you can find the correct data:

Document ID UF00000148 and repository identifier displayed in highlighted text.
