Upgrading the dox42 D365 FSCM package in D365 FSCM

Prerequisites

You have fulfilled these upgrades:

Steps

  1. Choose your desired installation:

    • via Deployable Package: contains the binaries only.

    • or the Source Code (available on request from support@dox42.com): can be useful in case you want to develop your own extensions or if you want to debug something.

  2. After successfully upgrading the package you need to configure D365 FSCM to work with the dox42 Server.

    Some releases may contain separately designed D365 FSCM features to control the lifecycle of the feature. Such features can be managed in the standard D365 FSCM way in the “Feature management” workspace.

  3. Activate new features   manually, otherwise they may be activated automatically in one of the next releases. Also, some features can be auto-activated immediately during the deployment processing. See this table for more details:

dox42 server management

This feature will allow you to define dox42 servers at the report level as well as at the company level. Once this feature is enabled, it will modify and transform the dox42 parameters and once enabled, this feature cannot be disabled from the Feature management workspace.
