In order to extend the dox42 basic template HelloDokID.docx, you can load more document properties from d.velop documents. Therefore, you can use the d.velop data source.
Steps
Copy the template HelloDokID.docx and its data map to HelloDokIDDetails.docx.
Go to the dox42 ribbon and select Data Map.

The Data Map Designer opens.
Input parameters of d.velop documents
Select the d.velop button.
The Alpin d.velop DMS Data Source window opens.Fill in the information as follows:

Select Connect.
Note

Important
Please note that the two parameters
D3 Base Uri
andD3 Api Key
should never be configured directly in these fields in plain text. This is only allowed for testing and local calls. After that, these fields must be empty or filled for third-party systems via a parameter (e.g.,<%Konfig.d3ApiKey%>
). These parameters are automatically filled from d.velop documents.The connection to the configured d.velop documents is established, and all data fields are loaded.
Select the Test button to display the entries in d.velop documents and thus to confirm the correct functionality. Temporarily, a query of the access data appears for setting up the template.

Select OK to confirm the data source.
New data source
In the Data Map Designer, go to File > Save and close the data map.
All properties from d.velop documents are now available in the data fields.Note
The properties are loaded depending on the provided document ID.

Extend the template and fill it with the data of the document (Customer Name 1).
Alignment of data fields and text
Since the template is saved in d.velop documents, the call can be configured as before.
