Verifying the OAuth2 Authorization

This step procedure is valid for dox42 Online.
See the MODUS documentation if you want to use dox42 D365 BC with dox42 Server. 

After setting up the BC App, you should verify if you have configured the OAuth2 Authorization correctly.

Steps

  1. Optional, if you’re not already there: In your D365 BC account, open the dox42 Setup and proceed further to the Authorizations dialog.

    Note

    Follow the first steps of Setting up the dox42 D365 BC App in order to get there.

  2. In the Authorizations dialog, go to the Actions tab and select Test Acquire Token > By Authentication Code in order to get a test token that will prove your authorization.

    The success message Successfully authorized against resource … appears.

  3. Select OK to close the message.

Result

You have verified, that the OAuth2 Authorization has been set up properly.
