By creating a document configuration, you link your previously created document to a selected template.
Prerequisites
You have the dox42 Administrator role in Business Central (to set the role, go to the cogwheel at the top right of Business Central, select the My settings menu and then the dox42 Administrator role).
You have created a new output configuration (e.g. ReturnAction or Query String).
You have related your document to this output configuration.
Steps
In the Activities section, select the Document Configurations tile.

The dox42 Document Configurations dialog opens.
Select the New button to add a new document configuration.

From the Document Code dropdown menu, select the document that you have created for this output configuration.
From the Template Code dropdown menu, select the template that you have created for this output configuration.
Turn on the All Language Code toggle if your template is to be used for any language, regardless of the BC language code. If not, specify for which language codes the template is to be used and select the specific language codes from the Language Code dropdown menu.
Note
We recommend creating a separate template for each language.
If the template is only valid from or until a certain date, select a Starting Date or Ending Date.
Use the arrow buttons at the top to exit the dialogs.
Result
You have created a document configuration, i.e. you linked your previously created document to a selected template.
