Setting up the document generation in BC Online

If you want to generate documents containing Business Central data without leaving the platform, you will need to set up an output configuration for dox42 in Business Central.

This way, you will replace the standard print PDF feature in Business Central with a dox42 generated document.

1. Create an output configuration (ReturnAction)

2. Create a document and relate it to your output configuration

3. Add your dox42 template

7. Select a report configuration for document generation.

8. Generate the document via the Print button
